Ted Bundy was arguably one of the most vicious serial killers in history. He was known for kidnapping, raping, and murdering young women. He was active during the 1970s until he got caught in 1978. UFC commentator and renowned podcaster Joe Rogan recently touched on this topic in his podcast.

Ted Bundy (full name Theodore Robert Bundy) had all the tools to lure women toward him. He was a charming individual who’d pick women up in a car and ask them if they needed a lift. After his arrest in 1978, he denied the accusations of murder for almost a decade. However, he later confessed to murdering over 30 people in a 4-year span, from 1974 to 1978.

Chris Distefano joined Joe Rogan on the #1947 episode of the million-dollar ‘Joe Rogan Experience’ podcast, where he talked about one of the witnesses of Ted Bundy’s murders. Chris Distefano spoke about the testimony of a witness to Ted Bundy, who happened to be a friend of his mother.

Distefano said that his mother’s friend was about 17 or 18 years old when she met Ted Bundy in a supermarket. The 38-year-old mentioned that the woman had a bad feeling when she saw Bundy. She felt so uneasy that she went on to call her brother to pick her up from the store. Distefano mentioned that the woman also saw Ted Bundy hiding near her house, as her family saw him running out of the bushes.

The news channel showed Ted Bundy’s face after three years. This made her realize that she was dating a serial killer.

Chris Distefano reiterates how the woman described Ted Bundy. He said, “She said when she saw him [Bundy], she literally almost fell out of her chair.” The 38-year-old added, “added, “He would get a look over him when he was preying on a victim ….he does not look like that.” He mentioned that the woman wanted nothing to do with Bundy after he gave her that sinister look.

It startled Joe Rogan to hear this story from his guest on his podcast. He said, “Oh sh*t. So he had already committed murders. So he was looking to murder her and he was giving that energy out? …holy sh*t.”It surprised Joe Rogan to hear that Bundy had been trying to get at her by stalking and even giving the energy of a murderer.

Although Bundy committed some of the most gruesome crimes ever, he also became somewhat of a celebrity, especially after escaping police custody in Colorado in 1977. Because of his charm and intelligence, he attracted a great deal of public attention during his trial. His case inspired a number of popular novels and films about serial killers.
