From 1957 is my stunning Tudor Oysterprince 34.
Of particular note is the stunning patina on the dial which has aged to an even ‘Panna’ colour. Logo and markers have aged to a wonderful golden/bronze tone and hands similar in certain light with the seconds hand a vivid blue.
The 34mm case is fat and possibly unpolished showing hairline scratches expected of a near 70 year old watch. The reference and serial number clear on the caseback as expected of this era. Due to its thick case, smooth bezel and lugs it wears above it’s 34mm size and feels very modern on the wrist.
I have no history of this watch being serviced, but the cal 390 is working, and timekeeping is good. The watch winds as sets smoothly with no issues.
