The esports agency looks to increase its support to players with the creation of a new League-specific program. This marks the second launch by Prodigy, after successfully launching CS:GO Academy program “The Prodigies” in 2022.
The program has been designed by some of the greatest experts in the LoL scene, including former professional player and current Head of LoL Bora “Yell0wStaR” Kim, as well as LoL Agent Adrian “Hatchy” Widera. The two offer years and years of experience within the LoL esports scene, with the main goal of providing solutions for young LoL stars.
Bora Kim, Prodigy Agency’s Head of League of Legends, commented on the launch of the new project: “Today, the upcoming talented players have easy access to different kinds of levels when it comes to leagues. With our Scouting Grounds program, we really want to elevate the ascension of the players, contribute to their success and support them from all angles. We already have a scouting system in place and our ambition is to push it further: we want to give a chance to all talented and upcoming players that would like to reach the top level.
We aim to facilitate the players and teams to have a better match, find synergies and opportunities that would be the best for everyone. The samples that would be recorded in our different steps will then help the teams to select the players based not only on their gameplay, but also on the features they are looking for.”
Adrian Widera, Prodigy Agency’s League of Legends Agent, believes that connecting people is an important part of any professional player’s career: “We realize that it’s not always easy for players to break through and reach the teams they want to potentially play in. I have run multiple academy projects in Poland in the past that have been attended by many successful players, such as Inspired, Agresivoo, Erdote, Czekolad, Lucker, Sinmivak, Czajek, and many more. Often the contacts made in such projects are friendships that last until this day.”
