This weekend, it’s time once again for the Manchester Anime & Gaming Con, one of many events taking place around the UK this year. With a cosplay masquerade, exciting guests from Genshin Impact, Warhammer: Darktide and more, it’s certainly the must-not-miss anime con.

With day 1 already wrapped up, there’s still plenty to come for fans of all things anime! There are two full stages of shows including a talent show, performances from MION and LELE as well as a Q&A with Genshin Impact voice actors all on the mainstage. This is your chance to ask Josey Montana McCoy all your burning questions.
Chill out time is important as well. Manchester Anime & Gaming Con has a whole chill out room dedicated to anime viewings with top shows including Blue Exorcist, Demon Slayer and Naruto. This is if you’re not already taking part in the Tekken or Mario Kart gaming tournaments or sitting down for a game of Dungeons and Dragons with the professional DMs. The dedicated gaming rooms are a great chance to check out the best anime games for PC too!
If you want to take part in any of the tabletop gaming events including DnD, YuGiOh, Magic: The Gathering and Pokémon, make sure to sign up before 12pm.
What to SeeManchester Anime & Gaming Con is a haven of anime merch and shopping. As one of the top anime events in the UK, there are over 60 sellers of anime and gaming clothes, accessories and tonnes more.
If shows are your thing, the ultimate cosplay event is the cosplay masquerade. It’s on both days on the main stage at 5pm and is a chance to see some of the very best the city has to offer.
Don’t Miss Esports.net journalist! Our journalist Sophie McCarthy is attending the event on both Saturday and Sunday to check out all the amazing cosplays. Find her on Twitter, or in person if you want to be featured!
