Popular Hollywood actor who’s played iconic roles of Superman and Geralt from The Witcher is reportedly arriving in the Call of Duty universe, very soon.

Henry Cavill has been going through an interesting phase lately. Firstly, he ruled the hearts of millions with his portrayal of the Man of Steel in the DCEU movies. Following his astronomical rise as a fan-favorite superhero, he then went onto impress the viewers by playing Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher series, based on the popular gaming saga. However, due to unfortunate circumstances, he’s no longer associated with any of these two characters.

Surprisingly, though, it looks like stars are aligning once again for the Hollywood actor. And he might end up gaining popularity with another iconic role. But this one’s going to be an intense, action-filled ride for him. After all, that’s what a franchise like Call of Duty demands.

According to latest reports from a website that claims to have strong sources, the former Man of Steel is soon going to feature in a live action film based on Activision’s billion-dollar franchise. Moreover, what makes this latest rumor interesting is that Henry Cavill is expected to play none other Captain John Price himself.

Every hardcore Call of Duty lover knows what Captain Price means to the action series. Especially when it comes to the Modern Warfare installments by Infinity Ward. In other words, he’s become the face of the entire gaming IP itself.

As for the project, Amazon Studios is in the midst of acquiring the rights for Activision’s IP.

Apart from his acting skills, Cavill is also known as an avid gamer. He played The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt before taking on the role of Geralt in Netflix’s TV show.
