Below are the six teams that have qualified for the Spring Playoffs (ordered by seeding):
The LCS Spring regular split was full of surprises, with some great upsets and ups and downs for quite a lot of teams. Cloud9 and FlyQuest were a tier above everyone else, with the first prevailing over the second one. Despite the insane start by FLY, C9 was able to close the gap and beat them in the tiebreaker for first place thanks to a much better draft. Whether FLY can get revenge will likely depend on their preparation going forward.
Behind them, we have 100T, who were able to turn their split around by winning the last 5 games (plus the two tiebreakers). They will be a dark horse to watch in playoffs, as they come in with the strongest momentum.
CLG also come from a 3-win streak in the last week who also beat C9 and direct rivals Golden Guardians. On the other hand, EG and GG have lost all their games in the last week, which might hurt them going into playoffs. That said, EG are known to be better in Bo5 series, so it’s probably early to count them out.
