This is one reason that gun control advocates are extremely upset about JD Vance being Trump’s vice presidential nominee.

JD Vance’s grandmother, who raised him, had 19 loaded handguns in her home when she died. He says that because she had a hard time moving around, she spread them out all around the house to ensure that they were all within easy reach to protect her family.
