The new season of Fortnite has completely upended the loot pool. Some well-loved weapons are among those that we’ve seen vaulted. Compared to Chapter 4 Season 1, there is a much bigger quality difference between guns. Some like the Mythic pumps are absolutely OP while others aren’t worth picking up even if you’re carrying all grey and you spot a purple one. These are the very best guns in the Fortnite weapon tier list this season! The ones you’ll likely see getting some changes in the latest Fortnite news before the competitive events start. At the moment, these vary from completely overpowered and over the top to essential. While a few of these are limited in each game, getting one gives you an instant better loadout for the round.

This is the second tier down. These ones aren’t as heavy on the mythics and exotics. These picks in the Fortnite weapon tier list are still powerful, but usually a bit easier to find. You can keep them in your loadout for the majority of time spent in Fortnite this season. These are all pretty useful and have better stats than the majority of the guns in the game right now

This tier is where the Fortnite weapons get a bit dicier. These weapons are outclassed in their category by better ones. While they still work, especially in a higher rarity, they’re not on the higher end. You’re best off trying to find better versions in most categories, but they can do in a push.

The C Tier is quite a bit smaller for the Fortnite weapon tier list this time. The game doesn’t have too many terrible weapons, but it does have one that’s completely outclassed. It’s largely only down here before of its terrible damage numbers. Running one of these, you have no chance against a pump. Some of the best Fortnite players can make it work, but pretty much everyone avoids it. This is the sole weapon in the Fortnite tier list for this category.
