The most famous festival in that region is ‘Mata Murti Ka Mela’ which marks the descent of the river Ganges to several tributaries. On this day, the worship of Goddess Badrinath's mother takes place, and that's why it is the most significant ritual of Badrinath.

There is also a Badri Kedar festival celebrated in June. This festival lasts for eight days in various artists from all over the country perform during the function many local rituals are performed.
