As lip cosmetics with different textures, lip gloss, and lipstick are suitable for different makeup looks. What if you have a tube of your favorite lip gloss color and want to have a lip balm in the same color? This article discusses how to turn lip gloss into a matte lipstick.
Preparation materials: lip gloss, clear wax or white wax, vegetable oil (olive oil, sweet almond oil, etc.), lipstick tube, mixing stick or small spoon, hot water or electric stove, bowl.
Specific steps:
1. Prepare the required materials. Take a bowl and put the lip gloss in the bowl.
2. Add a certain proportion of transparent wax or white wax and an appropriate amount of vegetable oil, and adjust the proportion according to your favorite texture and taste. Generally speaking, the ratio of transparent wax to vegetable oil is 1:1, and the ratio of white wax to vegetable oil is 2:1. If you want to make the lipstick more moisturizing, you can increase the proportion of vegetable oil.
3. Place the bowl in hot water, or heat it with an electric stove, stir until the wax is completely melted, and mix well.
4. Pour the mixture into a lipstick container or lipstick tube, being careful not to overfill it.
5. Wait for the mixture to cool and solidify. If you want your lipstick to have a more matte texture, you can add an appropriate amount of matte pigment or toner to the mixture, stir well, and then pour it into a lipstick container or lipstick tube.
6. Finally, cover the lipstick cover and store it in a cool and dry place.
Pay attention to adding matte pigments or toners to the mixture gradually, and test the color after mixing well to avoid the color being too dark or too light.
