Yeah, this is really starting to Animal Crossing Bells bug me. I play a good deal, and the number of times I get replicate lines from villagers is no joke. Unfortunately I have never played NL, but it is really shocking to hear that the difference - I can't for the life of me know why Nintendo would choose to"dumb down" the villagers like this.
I feel as if the game has been released just like a year too early. Furniture sets, villager dialogue, brewster, nook store updates, minigames from tortimer island so you truly have something to do with buddies online (fine, they were not that enjoyable, but they could improve upon this notion ), gyroids...
Yep. It is such a shame. I understand Nintendo have stated that they will be releasing updates for two years or so, but frankly that's too slow for many players. At this point I am beginning to believe they purposely withheld content so they might add it afterwards. How else would they know that they have"two years" value of articles to add?
Oh yeah, that is definitely the case. And it is annoying many gamers because the content they are withholding was available in earlier games and principles of their franchise (it seems strange to make us wait 1-2 years for Brewster, for instance ). They obviously want to milk this game for Buy Nook Miles Ticket as long as they can (even more so now that it has turned into a huge success as a result of Covid).
